Hi, hello.
Life’s been one wild, wonderful, and sometimes messy ride.
My story with the online world started way back in the back room of my parents’ house, where teenage me spent hours on Geocities, building websites for friends. I remember the days of waiting for that sweet dial-up connection while I read books like HTML for Dummies and dreamed of the endless possibilities technology could bring.
That early passion for limitless connectivity shaped everything I’ve done since. At 24, I stumbled into the fast-paced world of digital marketing, accidentally landing a gig at a web agency. The iPod Shuffle had just launched, 3G was the next big thing, and I was working on creative marketing solutions for brands like Maybelline, Nokia, WWF, and Johnson & Johnson. I’ve been so lucky to turn my curiosity into a career.
Fast forward a decade (and a few plot twists), I found myself marketing one of the world’s most liveable cities and launching a storytelling podcast.
But life, as it does, just... does it's thing. Shit happened, shift happens - whether you want it or not. In recent years, I’ve lost a parent and a dear friend. And that loss really brought the reality of life into sharp focus. These experiences taught me to live fully, intentionally, and with purpose. They reminded me to embrace what truly matters and to pour my energy into the things that bring meaning, connection, and growth.
It slapped me with the realisation of how short life truly is.
That epiphany led me to embark on a solo adventure to climb Mount Kinabalu, Malaysia’s tallest peak. What I thought would be just an adventure turned out to be a life lesson wrapped in altitude, resilience, joy, and the power of small, intentional steps. I learned that every part of the journey matters, that surrounding yourself with the right people makes all the difference, and that we’re far more capable than we think.
These lessons shape everything I do today.
