I am a qualified yoga and barre instructor based in Adelaide, South Australia – one of the most liveable cities in the world – passionate about sharing the benefits of functional movement based on traditional principles and methods.
I believe movement of any kind and nature is beneficial for our bodies, and am thrilled to be able to share practices that have been my inspiration and a source of comfort, strength, and guidance during life’s challenging moments.
Yin Yang Yoga
Yin Yang yoga classes begin with slow, static, grounding poses (yin) and finishes with qigong-inspired (yang) sequences to form a balanced 60mins class.
Yin, Roll & Release
Yin, roll & release uses props such as therapy balls, blocks, and straps, combined with yin poses, to provide myofascial relief in common body areas. New term in 2021!

I’ve never been a fan of yoga but Michelle’s yin yang yoga session is slowly changing my mind about it. Love her teaching style – she allows us to go at our own pace and to tune into our bodies while providing us the support when needed. Looking forward to the next session!
Michelle has been practicing yoga for more than a decade, and has studied with world-renown schools and teachers across the world. She stumbled upon a yoga class during the darkest period of her life. It was through this first step toward her personal yoga practice, and support of beautiful teachers that she found healing, love, and strength she never knew existed within herself. In the last year, she gravitated towards barre for strength-building and rhythmic practices. With ballet, gymnastics, and music in her background, the combination of yoga and barre practices is her happy medium.
